The fun of walking in an unknown place in the dark is Unique. Probably, because of the journey with Guru Premangee,
I was feeling like a happy and satisfied person.
We climbed the hill and knocked on the
door of the wooden building. A tall man opened the door. Fair-skinned as like a
European with a bushy beard and hair, He was in a yellow jacket and red
trousers. Touching the fire, we entered. There was a tradition that a person
should touch the fire when entering house.
Guru: 'He is Viraj ji'
A wonderful Guy. In a few moments, we
became like friends who already knew each other.
Biraj raised the issue of Organic.
A white woman and a beautiful baby boy
entered . Biraj introduced us to them. She was the wife of Biraj and the smart
boy was his son, Shiva. Very funny and responsive. Liked to play with people.
Seeing the smiling face of his child, the rained of happiness was evident on
Biraj's face. The joy of children is the happiness of life. I felt, the couple
was drawing a map of their son. Every parent is an engineer of their child,
they are designing. It is a joy for parents to be involved in building a
child's life.
Guru Premangee's presence made Biraj
excited.
He took permission while drinking,
pramangee accepted with a Smile. Patience is an important quality in the
journey of spiritual life.
The matter of food was going on.
Guru:
'We are losing our food base. Now it’s time for us to be careful. ’As the
conversation went on, I asked Biraj’s age. He was more than 40 plus,………
surprised.
The topic was food security,
non-organic food.
Guru added, "I am not ready to
accept the disappearance of grain. People don't have to starve anywhere. For
example, in Darjeeling, the production of potatoes is more, then, we have to
consumes more potatoes . Food should be eaten according to the place.
But today, hunger also seeks a level. Hunger seeks noodles and thirst seeks
cold drinks. '
"We have despised the soil. We
are making excessive use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides in the name of
producing more in the soil. Which is harmful to our health. Because of this toxin,
80 percent of the people are infected with some form of disease. About 20
percent are found to be chronically ill. Diseases like cancer, diabetes, heart
disease, kidney and stroke are products
of poison, '
While listening to this, I visualized
the dining table with decorated food. I had a general memory. The taste of water stored in the soil pot.
Felt the taste of Traditionally made MAHI.
I am interested traditional lunch
restaurant. Do people eat items like roasted Maka,/batanas, and pickles of Gundruk
in restaurants, or not? People is attracted to things like organic,
yoga, Ayurveda, naturopathy, meditation, nature walk. Why not in the case of
food? Sometimes I wonder if a brand will be formed.
Ah, guru was also saying that, it is
better to eat shakhar instead of sugar. Bira Nun instead of white salt. We have
a good choice. Nowadays, people have also become conscious. Health is the first
priority. On the one hand, the development -of-the technology is taking an
unexpected leap. On the other hand, the attraction of using the things used by
the ancestors is also increasing.
but Some things we have lost for
forever. Is it difficult to get it again? For example, the varieties of rice Kasturi,
Dhaiya, Kala Nimak, Dhyukumari, Krishnabhog and Gamdi found in Nepal . It seems
strange that such a small country Nepal had 2,000 varieties of rice.
However, we are getting a positive
message. I have no argument against the Guru's thought that we should be
satisfied with what we have.
It was already 12 AM.
Kesh Ragi was sleeping in the chair.
So we moved to the second floor of
that wooden house.
It was a very beautiful bed. We were tired of walking around Darjeeling. So
we went to sleep as soon as we found the bed.
